Skyspear was founded from a strategic need identified by Anglo American Platinum in 2013 to replace their aging, cumbersome legacy CAD systems. After a nine-month development cycle conducted at the Tumela mine site with direct user input, we delivered a system superior in quality and efficiency—Broadstroke.
Our leadership, including Ben Pietersen (CEO) and Riaan Botha (Lead Programmer), brings decades of operational experience. Riaan, a former planner, authored standards for AngloGold, giving us a truly unique and in-depth understanding of the challenges technical teams face underground.
